How much does a new website usually cost?
There’s isn’t an exact answer to this question. A website design is quoted based on the needs of each individual project. Every website is unique and requires different components; we design and develop custom websites specifically for your business. We’ll ask a lot of questions, assess your needs, and give you a quote based on that assessment. Most of our sites run in the $500 – $5,000 range, but can be more or less depending on needs of your business.
How long will it take to get a new website?
On average, we shoot for a two to eight week turnaround, but the pace of any project is set by each client and the type of website your business requires. How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your availability with feedback, how soon the content is ready – all this affects the speed of completion. The functionality needs may also play a role – more complex sites will take more time to develop.
Do you only create WordPress websites?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! WordPress is a great content management system that now powers more than 30% of the web. Its huge market share is due to it’s flexibility and ease of use. Don’t worry, if you decide to go with WordPress or if you decide to go with another content management system we’ll teach you how to manage it and help you along the way.
Do you work only with local clients?
Nope! We work with clients all over the world. Our whole team works remotely, allowing us to find the absolute best team for our business. But most of our business is within the United States.
Will I be able to update the site myself when it’s completed?
Yes! We love it when our clients take control of their website and learn to manage it on their own, we actually encourage it. We’ll provide you with the help you will need to learn your way around, as well provide you with a training session to help get you on your way.
Will you maintain my site for me?
Yes we can! We provide on-going support for many of our clients. We can provide hosting and can maintain and update your website if you are not able to do so yourself, or if you just prefer us to do it for you.
Will my website be mobile friendly?
Absolutely! Having a mobile friendly website is more important than ever, especially now when more people are using their cell phones to go online then they are their computers! We work hard to ensure your website looks great on a variety of devices.
When do I pay? And what types of payments do you accept?
We offer a variety of payment options, varying from a one-time, up-front payment to 3 payments, which would be one payment to start the project, one when half way finished and then the final payment when the website is completed and turned over to you. We understand that this is a big investment and want to help you budget for the expense in whatever way possible.
We accept checks, PayPal, and all major credit cards.
Who writes the content for the site?
Usually that is you. You are the expert on your business, so it’s usually best if the content comes from you. If you need help, we have a copywriter on our team who can help clean up or write original content for you at an additional cost.
What if I need help on my site down the road?
We are only an email or call away! We’re here to help you as much or as little as you need, and we won’t disappear once the site is launched. We’ve been doing this for 20 plus years, so we aren’t going anywhere anytime soon!
